Music plays a role in worship - all types of music - contemporary, traditional, instrumental, a capella, cultural, choruses and others. At Kenner First Church of the Nazarene we believe in using the talents God has given us for His praise and glory. There is a wide range of opportunity for musical expression and ministry for people of all ages.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP TEAM:

Kenner First seeks to develop a skilled Praise and Worship Team that will be responsible for leading all of us in Spirit-filled worship.

INSTRUMENTS OF PRAISE:

Do you play an instrument - anything from a piano to a piccolo and from a harp to a harmonica? If so, you are invited to exercise your talent to the glory of God here at Kenner First.

BIBLE CLASS:

Each Lord's Day morning the Bible Class meets from 9:45am - 10:40am. This is a great opportunity for folks to meet in a small group setting and to learn and discuss the Word of God.

LADIES' GROUP:

The Ladies' Group is a support group that meets once a month. This is a time of prayer, fellowship, reflection, and service for women of ALL ages regardless of marital status. Please contact Sandra Cholmato for additional information: psalm32-8@hotmail.com

MISSIONS MEETINGS:

On the last Thursday of each month a Missions Meeting takes place at the church facility from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The format of the meeting varies from the discussion of missions topics, to videos, to guest speakers. A time for prayer and praise is always part of the meeting.

NURSERY:

Kenner First intends to re-open its nursery for children who have not yet reached their fourth birthday. Parents who wish to use the nursery need to become familiar with the Nursery Policy (posted on the nursery door).

MEN'S GROUP

The Kenner First Men's Group meets in the church fellowship hall each Tuesday for fellowship, prayer, and Bible study at 6:30 AM. All men of all ages are invited.
